As I plan to play some “Barbarossa” scenarios in Battlegroup game, I started to build some tanks for it. My first choice was a light, reconnaissance tank – Pz. II C in generic, Panzergrau colour scheme. Model I used, is a well known, polish “Fist to Fight” series kit.
Recovery vehicles models aren’t as popular as their armed equivalents, especially in 1/72nd scale. But they’re a great topic for modellers, if you like weathered and heavy worn models, because they were often used in hard conditions on the battlefield. Light german scout car Sd. Kfz. 222 is one of the vehicles that are iconic for early WW II Blitzkrieg pictures. Presented model is made of well known polish First to Fight series kit. One of the best known tanks – the german “Panther”. I love it’s edgy figure, and I think it’s one of the best ones for scale modellers. It looks really agressive and has lots of flat surfaces which offer nice painting opportunities.
